How hard is it?

Challenging in a good way. Every piece is a unique cat or dog shape, so you match outlines instead of hunting for edges. Most people finish over a few relaxed sessions.

How big is it?

About 22 × 22 cm (8.7 × 8.7 in) when finished, roughly the size of a dinner plate. Perfect for a desk or shelf.

What's in the box?

135 animal-shaped wooden pieces, the cat or dog frame, a clear acrylic cover and a wooden display stand.

Who is it for?

Kids, teens and adults, ages 6+. Contains small parts: not suitable for children under 3.

Perfect Gift!

I bought this as a birthday gift for a friend and she absolutely LOVED it. She said it was so fun to put it together because all the cats pieces were so different. I will be purchasing this for myself!

Very satisfied with the purchase

Fun and tangled puzzle that keeps children entertained for hours. It comes with a sample of how the puzzle looks to guide you and has a base to prevent the pieces from falling.

Questions? We've got answers.

How hard is it?

Harder than the piece count suggests, in a good way. Every one of the 135 pieces is a different cat or dog shape, so you can't sort by edges and corners like a normal jigsaw. You match shapes and details instead. Most people do it over a few relaxed sessions rather than in one sitting.

What's in the box?

135 animal-shaped wooden pieces, the animal-head wooden frame (cat or dog), a clear acrylic cover and a wooden display stand.

How big is it when finished?

About 22 × 22 cm (8.7 × 8.7 in), roughly the size of a dinner plate. It's big enough to show off and small enough for a desk or shelf. The pieces themselves are small, which is part of the challenge.

Is there a picture to follow?

Use the product photos on this page as your guide. Many puzzlers save one to their phone before they start. Because every piece has its own shape, you'll often place pieces by their outline as much as by the picture.

Can I display it once it's done?

Yes, that's the best part. Slide the clear acrylic cover over the finished puzzle to keep the pieces in place and dust-free, then stand it on the wooden stand. It looks great on a desk, bookshelf or bedside table.

Who is it for?

Teens and adults, ages 14 and up. It's a calm, screen-free hobby for cat and dog lovers and for anyone who enjoys a puzzle with a twist.

Safety: contains small parts. Not suitable for children under 3. Keep pieces away from young children and pets.

Is it a good gift?

It's one of the easiest gifts for an animal lover: pick Cat Pals or Dog Pals and you're done. It's a gift they'll enjoy making and then keep on display, which most gifts can't say.
